Module 3: Professional Obligations concerning real estate brokers and agents.
A Single Act of Brokerage Constitutes Violation - A person who directly or indirectly for another with the intention or on the promise of receiving any valuable consideration, offers, attempts, or agrees to perform or performs, a single act of brokerage, whether as a part of a transaction, or salesperson within the meaning of this action. The commission of a single such by a person, is required to be licensed by LASRERA.

Real Estate Ethics and Conduct

Ethics in real estate go beyond compliance with laws; they define how professionals should conduct business to the public with integrity, fairness, and responsibility. This module focuses on the core ethical principles that govern real estate professionals, implementing and ascertain integrity, competency, fiduciary responsibilities in its dispensation, and due diligence.

This module consists of four lessons:

  2. Competency and Continuous Education
  3. Fiduciary Responsibilities and Loyalty
  4. Reasonable Care and Due Diligence

Each lesson contains learning objectives, key concepts, and real-world examples, and a short quiz to reinforce learning.
